TERRITORIES OF THE JADE EMPIRE OF INGEN
The Jade Empire of Ingen holds territories across several different regions of space. Its primary holdings are in the NS-1 Region, to which it relocated its core systems in 2466 AT during the events of Deep Harvest, in what is known to historians as the Great Exodus. It also has significant holdings in the Ancerious Galaxy.
Administered by a feudal system, the Jade Empire is split into several layers of governance. Major planets and regions of space are covered by Provinces, which are ruled by a Daimyo. Provinces are subdivided into several Districts, ruled by a Fujin-Daimyo. A district can be a single large city or a wide swathe of territory. Districts are further subdivided into prefectures, ruled by hatamoto or 'senior samurai, whilst individual estates are owned by common samurai.
A province typically numbers in the billions of citizens. Districts typically number in the millions. A prefecture can be as low as a few hundred thousands, whilst individual estates can be as few as the samurai's immediate family. As only the judiciary are elected in the Jade Empire, there is no pressing need for strict regularity in the sizing of feudal holdings.

NS-1 REGION
The Jade Empire inhabits a swathe of territory in the Penrose Galaxy in the NS-1 region.
The Laptev System, containing the planets of Laptev and Neusattar, is the core system of the Jade Empire of Ingen. Home to 23 billion people, it is the most populous territory of the Jade Empire. Laptev is a hub of agricultural and quaternary industry activity, whilst Neusattar boasts significant manufacturing bases.
The Legacy System, home to the planet of Legacy, is a single-planet system home to approximately 5 billion citizens. A metropolitan system, it is a popular tourist destination and resort system, and is rich in crop and livestock.
Surrounding these two systems are hundreds of lesser colony planets and outposts. Notable examples include Texcoco, a semi-autonomous system inhabited and governed by felidaens. These colonies have an aggregate population of several billion, ranging in size from bustling entrepots with millions of inhabitants to tiny trade and mining outposts with only a few hundred people aboard.

ANCERIOUS GALAXY
Sanrin System is the centre of the Imperial territories in the Ancerious Galaxy. Nearly half a billion people call Sanrin home, with millions more inhabiting the colony worlds around it. Sanrin and its satellite systems are rich in mining and material resources.
In 2483 AT, an expeditionary force from the Jade Empire arrived in the Ancerious Galaxy and laid claim to the Sanrin system, beginning construction of the first colony there. In the years since the Ingenious population in Ancerious has swelled, settlers drawn by the opportunity for land, new resources and adventure.
