The Imperial Jade Navy organises its vessels into fleets. A Fleet is typically led by an Admiral of O7 rank minimum. Individual squadrons are led by Commodores of O6 rank or higher, whilst temporary flotilla detachments of up to four vessels may be led by a Captain of O5 rank or higher. Any FTL-capable capital class warship must be commanded by a Captain of O5 rank or higher.
The standard combat and administrative unit of the Imperial Jade Navy, commanded by an Admiral. Musters 179 capital ships with 40,000 crew, 10,000 marines and an additional 30,000 marine passengers.
Led by a command squadron containing the fleet's flagship, supported by a battlecruiser squadron, five destroyer squadrons, an artillery squadron, a carrier squadron and a logistical squadron. Total count is 25 corvettes, 80 assault frigates, 20 carrier frigates, 30 destroyers, five battlecruisers, five artillery ships, three supercarriers, ten logistics vessels and a command ship. A Fleet can carry up to 30,000 Jade Marines in 6 regiments aboard its carrier squadron, with an additional 10,000 marines in two regiments forming its dedicated ships' companies to repel boarders. |
