MATOMORO KANBEI
BIOGRAPHYBorn in 2352 AT to a noble samurai family in the mountain city of Kajiya, he became the feudal lord of the city at the age of 17 when both of his parents were killed in a traffic accident. He pushed for Shogunate intervention in the Battle of the Laptev Straits and afterwards negotiated the first alliance with the Katasian Ryk.
In the Second Age, he accompanied future Jade Empress Takara into exile during the Trathiran Revolt. He led the Assault on Gau III and was present at the Storming of the Winter Villa. He subsequently took part in the Qart-Hadastim War. He was elevated to Daimyo of Ingen Province in 2445 AT and currently sits on the Council of Regents. Following the death of Shogun Starkpfote, Kanbei was selected to be the next Shogun of the Jade Empire. |
