BIOGRAPHY
Aoi Yoshida was born to a samurai family shortly after the conclusion of the Qart-Hadastim War. Raised in a traditional Ingenious household, she was enlisted in officer training during the Barlat War and did not see action. She was a lieutenant with the 121st during the San Alejandran War and was promoted to captain during the course of the campaign. She was injured in the left shoulder during an Alejandran ambush in the city of Venezzia, and invalided out for three months whilst she recovered the use of her arm. Following the occupation of Alejandra District by the Jade Empire, she received an honourable discharge from the marine corps and accepted a position as a member of the new Fujin-Daimyo's household. During her time in the Fujin-Daimyo's retinue, she met and married a native San Alejandran, Dr Francesco Tatti, a professor of Ecology at the University of Aeterna. |
Dr Tatti was the victim of a gruesome murder in 2482AT during the spate of terror attacks on Aeterna City. Yoshida assisted Colonel Lopez Azzorado of the JIAN in investigating the attacks, discovering that Merger cultists were masquerading as Alejandran Resistance operatives and had murdered and replaced senior members of the Alejandran Church. Yoshida was part of the task force that stormed the Great Basilica and removed the impostor Pontiff Absolvo III, stamping out the Merger influence in the region. Following the conclusion of the crisis, Yoshida resigned her post as a member of the Fuijn-Daimyo's retinue and disappeared.
She resurfaced several years later in the Ancerious Galaxy, tracking down a serial killer named Vant for the public bounty. Vant ultimately turned out to have been influenced by a Panopticon artefact.
