KASEN ROCKET MUNITION
The Kasen is a fire-and-forget loiter-capable missile built to be fired from white arms such as longbows and crossbows, and is an inexpensive and effective anti-armour solution.

DESIGN
At just short of a metre in length, the Kasen has a tustrite anti-vehicle warhead. A superheated tip allows the Kasen to pierce armour plating or find lodgement in the armour, at which point the warheadr explodes. Initially propelled by kinetic force from the launch mechanism, it then accelerates using a microturbine jet and steered by inverse shield-cut variable position vanes. By delaying ignition of its microturbine jet, relying on simple kinetic force from a longbow or crossbow for initial propulsion, the Kasen increases the ability of the user to remain undetected. The Kasen can be used for direct fire, but its onboard targeting and navigation computer can also lock on to a prepainted target. This target is typically acquired and transmitted to the Kasen by exterior hardware such as a marine's helmet visual rangefinder for line-of-sight targeting, but can also be linked to larger systems for long-range volley fire.
DEVELOPMENT AND SERVICE
Cheap and disposable, the 30玉¥ Kasen is designed for use en masse and its delivery system means that a skilled archer can loose five shots a minute with ease. An improvement on older models of longbow which were used to great effect as improvised ranged explosive weapons, the Kasen takes advantage of traditional Ingenious archery pursuits to provide a functional and reliable long-ranged anti-armour solution.
