RICHARD BLUNTE
BIOGRAPHYBorn to Ystovian parents, Blunte was raised and educated in the Ystovian Reich until the age of 18, at which point he applied to study at the Shogunate military academy under the terms of the Laptev Axis cooperation and standardisation programs of the early 25th century AT. Completing his training, he graduated as an officer and served as a lieutenant in the Osean and Tasmanian Wars.

Shogunate ground forces upon the death of General Seiha, successfully extracting the surviving marines. Promoted to Major, he led elements of the 77th Regiment in boarding actions during the Trathiran Revolt, capturing the Oblivion Destroyer EIC Cost of Living. During the Exile, he participated in the Raid on Gau III under the command of Matomoro Kanbei. Following the Restoration, he was made Lt. Colonel of the 77th upon the Restoration.
The 77th was deployed to Taiidan and Kegawa District during their respective pacification campaigns, thanks to the regiment's specialisation in desert warfare. In Kegawa District, Colonel Blunte was injured by a rocket-propelled grenade and had his left forearm replaced by a robotic prosthesis.
