A political movement known as Trathira, led by a Katasian man named Heinke Pfalzgraf, engages in full-fledged rebellion against the Shogun. Assisted by the East Ingen Company and various enemies of the Axis, the Trathiran Revolt sees the death of Shogun Tadamichi Kuribayashi and the temporary rise of the Trathiran Reich, which is quickly defeated by loyalist forces led by Takara Kuribayashi, who establishes the Second Jade Dynasty and restores the Jade Empire.
The Guyanic Republic on Terra collapses, and the Jade Empire is invited by the survivors to assume control of their territories. The Laptev Axis become embroiled in the Czechanada-Macedonian War which rages across Earth, Pandora and several other systems. The Macedonians sue for peace and, as part of the settlement, the commander of their Giovosion allies is executed by the Axis. The Qart-Hadastim War begins when Carthage, unhappy at the destruction of Gau 3 and the collapse of the Trathiran regime, demands reparations. Daimyo Kanbei meets with Shoeftim Shafat but the negotiations fail and end in bloodshed. Qart-Hadastim Carthage declares war against the Jade Empire and sends a fleet to the Laptev System. alongside Jamesistani and Ystovian warships to defeat the Carthaginians, whilst over Terra Admiral Ludendorff routs the elite Carthaginian 'Red Squadron' and pushes the Carthaginian Milquart defense stations down from orbit. The Carthaginians are forced to surrender when Kira's Kingdom opens up a second front in order to capture territory in North Africa.
Imperial Algeria, an ally of the Axis, unexpectedly defects to the United Nazi Nations. The Laptev Axis threatens war against the UNN and receives 500 imperial tonnes of gold and other payments as tribute. Meanwhile, the Systems Commonwealth threaten war against Horizon, an ally of the Axis. Ingen, Katasia and Jamesistan send reinforcements to Horizon as part of the Horizon Campaign and the Systems Commonwealth withdraw. Days later the non-aligned nations of Tamriel, Holy Trek and Vulcan launch a surprise attack against Horizon. The Jade 1st Fleet arrives in orbit over the Vulcan homeworld and forces a total surrender, with three quarters of the Vulcan warfleet surrendered to the Axis as reparations. A Tamrielic WMD attack on the Orconian capital system of Julia brings an end to the Tamrielic Civil War, but the Systems Commonwealth nation of Kesrith launches an assault on the Orconian planet of Clearwater. An international rescue fleet evacuates the planet and the Imperial Jade Navy launches the Julia System Campaign, bombarding Clearwater with LOAD weapons, immolating the atmosphere and killing approximately five million Kesrithi military personnel. After an international panel on Panthera rules that this did not constitute a war crime, Commander Kain of the Xanthiri Republics of the Systems Commonwealth challenges Colonel Theoden Seawatcher to a duel to settle the affair honourably. Despite the Xanthiri use of concealed throwing weapons, Seawatcher decapitates Commander Kain and the matter is considered closed. The USSR, successor-state to Tamriel and member of the Systems Commonwealth, launches an attack against a Ystovian battlegroup. The Jade Fleet arrives to assist them and the Axis fleets assault the USSR naval base in the Battle of Walpha, immolating it with LOAD weapons. United Pokemon Types fighter craft launch a kamikaze attack on the Jade Fleet, inflicting many casualties. Nearly thirty Pokemon are taken prisoner. The World Directorate Agency is dissolved after its headquarters complex is captured in a surprise assault by the Jade military, orchestrated by Colonel Juan Carlos la Sana who was a member of the WDA. The entire population of the Axis nation of Jamesistan disappears entirely on the summer solstice. No trace is ever seen of them again. An Imperial company, Unspoken Waters, cracks the 'telasomere' problem, effectively removing the upper limit on biological lifespans. The Laptev-ARN war begins after a territorial dispute in which an ARN nation, Nationale Einheit, threatens to use WMD's on Terra. An Axis counter-attack against the Solaris System is met by Patagonian and Kira's Kingdom fleets and a standoff ensues after the Patagonian contingent is routed at the Battle of Nationalstolz. In the Castillo system, the ARN nation of the Grand Republic assaults a nearby IJN moon base. The defenses are destroyed and the base commander orders kamikaze, using the gravity well generator of the moon base to destabilise its orbit and push it onto the planet. The Grand Republic surrenders and the Katasian Order evacuates the planet to other third-party planets. The Kiran fleet withdraws from Nationalstolz and Nationale Einheit surrenders, paying reparations and dismantling its stock of WMD's. Czechanada collapses, forcing the Jade Empire to assert control over the Legacy System. Following the Legacy Campaign, the planet is annexed as Legacy Province Ish'Cong terrorists bomb the Imperial Goods Exchange in the Famke Shipyards, killing nearly four thousand civilians from various nations. Imperial Marines quickly capture the vessel responsible and rescue three hostages, but the remaining terrorists kill themselves before they can be interrogated. The Red Dragon Society attempts to launch a blockade of the Laptev Axis, resulting in the Axis launching the Red Dragon Campaign against their homeworld The Society capitulates, paying 1,000,000 imperial tonnes of gold as reparations and surrendering Commander Joe Blake Jr into Axis custody. The Ystovians execute him by firing squad. The Barlat War begins. The Laptev Axis declares war upon the Barlat Concordiat. JIAN agents bomb the Ish'Cong city of Amren, ground forces assault Kira's Kingdom holdings in the British Isles on Terra in the Britannia Campaign, and the Concordiat suffer a minor naval defeat at the Battle over Agnes. The United Provinces of Connorianople invade Scotland and occupy much of the northern seaboard. The IJN is forced to withdraw following heavy losses at the Battle over Terra, allowing the Concordiat to land additional forces along the Yorkshire borders. An attack towards York by the Concordiat results in a victory for Daimyo Theoden Seawatcher but leaves the majority of Jade Imperial holdings on Terra in Concordiat control. |

Following a failed WMD attack against the Laptev System, Concordiat fleets assault the Katasian system of Sera. In the Battle over Sera, Jade Admiral Antonio Botas leads a grand armada of Axis fleets that traps the Concordiat against the planetary defenses and devastates the Concordiat fleets. Due to political discontent and disagreement in the Concordiat over how to further prosecute the war, the government of the United Americas defects to the Laptev Axis with JIAN assistance, strengthening the Axis' position on Terra and the two factions agree to peace talks, eventually ending the war status quo ante bellum and the unconditional return by both parties of all prisoners, territories and captured assets.

The Concordiat begins a political disintegration. The katasian Order of the Watcher turns its attention to the Merger, forces of Corruption that have gained a foothold in the FB-1 region. Following the bloody Keystone System Campaign and the mysterious, violent events of Deep Harvest, the Order boards the OSL Charon and departs the Laptev System to take the fight to the stars. Abandoned and devastated Katasian territory on Laptev is annexed during the Kegawa Pacification.
The galactic economy begins to stagnate as the remnants of the Barlat Concordiat and Systems Commonwealth engage in a series of brutal internecine wars and the Laptev Axis begins to withdraw its shrunken military from far-flung outposts. The anarcho-capitalist state of San Alejandro is consumed by the San Alejandran Civil War. After Axis forces intervene, the anti-Axis camp evacuates San Alejandro and the remnants of the state are annexed by the Jade Empire. The Universal Peace Enforcement Agency, undergoing legislative reforms, moves its headquarters to Terra and relinquishes its claim to all other territories. The People's Republic of Dong Wu falls into chaos following a short power struggle between senior party officials. The Jade Empire annexes the territory. |

The Laptev Axis elects to utilise scavenged Katasian entropic drive technology to relocate the Laptev System and several other systems to the NS-1 region, leaving the FB-1 region and most of their colonial possessions behind.
The first probes are dispatched into the NS-1 region with the intent of developing small-scale outposts, mining facilities and trading colonies. The Laptev Axis formally reopens the Laptev System to international trade. The Imperial Jade Navy fights at the Battle of Yamsai, incurring heavy casualties but helping the Nalydian Empire to secure favourable terms at the termination of the wider Pord-Frankish war. Terror attacks by the Merger target the city of Aeterna on Laptev. A JIAN operation, assisted by Imaginariumese secret service agents and a rogue katasian bartender, uncovers a Merger conspiracy to murder and replace senior Alejandran religious and resistance figures with Merger cultists and use them to sow discord and terror. The Pontiff, a Flesh Masquer who killed and replaced the real Pontiff, is assassinated by an Imperial strike force. |

Frankish warships assault elements of the 4th Fleet over the prospective colony world of Long Isle. During a Jade counterattack, the Merger launches a surprise attack on the system. The Imperials and Franks temporarily put aside their differences to drive off the Merger in the Battle over Long Isle.
Colonel la Sana leads an expedition against the necrotic plague-world of Golgothia and firebombs the planet after a brief conflict against local defense forces. The Jade Empire sends a colony fleet led by Flag Admiral Zhang Yu to the Ancerious Galaxy, leading to the Skirmish at Sanrin and the colonisation of Sanrin Province. The Flag Admiral is killed during a skirmish with UDS scout forces following a miscommunication that leads multiple dead on both sides. |

The JNV Fair Sakura, a trading vessel, is sunk in the Tychana System by the 3rd Taskforce of the Furrelian Union, under the command of Commodore Tausk. After a standoff between Jade, Union and Gauss Dominion fleets, the Furrelian Union lays criminal charges against Tausk, handing him over to the IJN to stand trial in the Jade Empire. In the aftermath, a temporary trade and non-aggression pact is signed between the Union and the Jade Empire, including a provision for Jade merchants to acquire a finite amount of ancerium annually at cost from the Union.
The IJN Tower Of Dusk is dispatched to assist anti-piracy operations on Lassero after being contacted by the Trayith Corporation. Agent Yagaan of the JIAN joins a multi-national strike team sponsored by Carnaith, whose first mission is to clear a mercenary group off the ancient library world of Cera Pr. He is killed in action. Elements of the 82nd Fleet, whilst investigating an unknown planet, are attacked by a reptilian alien race. The frigate Disir Dressed In Black is boarded and the corvette All Round My Hat is attacked by enemy warships. The Hat rams an enemy cruiser and its crew are rescued by Corundan warships which destroy the remaining two cruisers, before dispatching infantry to assist in retaking the Disir. Reinforcements from the two nations arrive and the decision is taken to firebomb the planet in a joint operation. Late in the year, the Franks launch massed assaults on Texcoco and Legacy, beginning the Legacy War. Their attacks are eventually repulsed, and a simultaneous Nalydian assault on the Frankish capitol of Neustria prompts the Franks to evacuate migrate their remaining systems to the PW-1 region. The Jade Empire annexes the Frankish planets of Atkol and Talestria in the aftermath of the war. Princess Mariko Kuribayashi goes missing after a failed kidnapping attempt by Merger agents during the siege of Legacy. A Jade destroyer participates in the Battle of Dinok, failing to prevent the destruction of the planet but wiping out the MOBY DIKK fleet of the Third Coronan Republic and preventing it from assaulting further innocent systems. Jade Admiral Botas enacts the final stage of the Botas Reforms, a sweeping series of overhauls to the Imperial Jade Navy. Late in the year the Curse of Light is placed on the population of the Jade Empire, transforming the human citizenry into Yokari. This causes widespread social upheaval, including the development of pro-independence groups such as the Conclave of Sunpike, but also greatly increases the personal magical power of the Jade royalty and religious orders. At the Battle of Kfar Tzvora, the IJN 7th Fleet is forced to withdraw alongside its allies after the Wasting successfully resurrect Yog Narr, an Eclipse Lord bio-superweapon. In Operation Tethannis, the IJN Sea Stack of the 7th fleet and elements of the 203rd regiment join with UNA forces in hunting and defeating the pirate lord Olga Kressler. Late in the year the IJN launches the Sarnath Campaign, following evidence of Merger activity in the Sarnath System in the form of the Cult of Carcaros. Despite heavy losses for the attackers, the Great Marchander Guild of Commerce capitulates and the planet of Marchand is occupied. Tony Idai arranges for the release of Ohuhri, an officer of the Artificia Unanimity. Before she returns to the AU, she assists him with his research, resulting in the creation of the Akugara and a potential solution to the AU's reproduction crisis. The Jade Embassy on Kon Galon, in the Gauss Dominion, is attacked with a nuclear device as part of wider political unrest between internal Gaussian factions, killing Ambassador Fukushima Kinu. Amid the collapse of the Gauss Dominion, the Jade withdraw from the planet. Jade Princess Mariko is recovered following the Capture of the FDS Dilinam, and almost immediately afterwards survives an assassination attempt. Justicar forces of the Veronis Tribunal launch an attack on the Jade colony of Whitewharf, killing or capturing over a million citizens. In the aftermath, the Justicars use the captured Hatamoto Alain Park as a sleeper agent, and he kills the Jade Empress in a suicide attack using decadizing fungal spores that cause an explosion in the throne room of Zhang-Yu Castle. |
